9E10.mCHOP(S78&81A).pCDNA1/Amp

9E10 (Myc-epitope) tagged mouse CHOP coding region only, S78A and S81A double mutant. The S78A and S81A mutation introduces an additional HhaI site not present in the wildtype insert. The mCHOP insert was ligated into the unique BamH1 and Xho1 of pcDNA1/Amp. Stocks are provided as DH5alpha host strain transformed with the plasmid. Note that there is considerable uncertainity regarding this plasmid, as it was "rescued" from an old glycerol stock and the documentation was reconstructed post-hoc. It is provided strictly "as is". Doubt extends to both the insert and the vector. For example, I would be surprised if this is a pCDNA1.1/Amp backbone. Luckily the insert is small and can readily be sequenced and/or transfered to another vector. If you discover more about this plasmid, please let me know so I may update the record.
